Many Belarusians, including opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, has fled to neighboring Lithuania after Lukashenko moved to violently stifle dissent in the wake of his controversial election win in August 2020.
Vilnius - located only 30km from the Belarusian border - has become the center of the Belarusian opposition-in-exile.
