De Akker is a ten-story building in a somewhat tough neighborhood in Arnhem, the Netherlands. A housing association brought different groups of people that have difficult position in society here to live together in what they call “the magic mix”.
Journalist Margriet Ostveen and I went there and spoke to Lize who fights an addiction, XXX from Afghanistan who is looking for housing and XXXX who suffers from dementia.
